What is the Ladylove Booth?

The Ladylove Booth is a creation of Ladylove Owners David Grover and Kate Siamro. David has owned Spinster Records for a decade and is deeply focused on creating a space with high quality audio... even when the bass is bumping and the tunes are blaring. The entire room is tuned which is a massive reason the DJs sets hit a little different than most places.

What makes the booth a little extra special is that NO LAPTOPS OR CONTROLLERS are aloud. It has a consistent set up of two Technics 12000s, two Pioneer CDJs 3000s, and a Pioneer A9 Mixer with four channels. All our DJs need to bring in is a collection of curated records or a USB.

David and Kate being DJs themselves gave them some solid insight of things that are a dream to have in a DJing booth. First, it is built higher than the floor audience, but not so high where there's a disconnection between the crowd and the DJ. Secondly, a section for the DJ to put their records so they can easily dig through their collection. Thirdly, a red rope... so keep the drunkie poos out of the booth. We want the booth to be the spotlight for the DJ themselves, and avoid anyone touching the gear who shouldn't.

Come by and take a good look at the booth. It was the first thing built in the Ladylove space, and everything was built out from it.
